The foundation work is in progress, all the totems, kitchen equipment, stock room shelving, and other items have been removed from the Dining Hall. Here you will have the opportunity to meet the new Camp Director Bill Lovell and share his vision for the 2009 season. Two leaders for any unit (whether you currently attend Camp Manatoc or not) are invited to attend this event. 2009 Summer Camp Reservations & November 11 dinner-meeting.

Now that camp is (mostly) quiet, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our unit leaders for their continuing support of Camp Manatoc. For those of you who may of missed the announcement, Bill Lovell who has been the chairman of the Council Training Committee has been announced as the 2009 Camp Director for Camp Manatoc's Summer Camp. Bill has been working hard planning his senior staff, area directors, and the other things that go into making a successful summer camp. Please review it, if your unit is still in orange we need to get a reservation form completed. If you have any questions related to Summer Camp reservations please contact the Great Trail Council office at 330-773-0415 x221. On November 11, 2008 beginning at 6pm we will have a Summer Camp Unit Leader Dinner. This event will be a chance to meet Mr Lovell and hear some of the things that he and his senior staff are planning for 2009. The dinner will take place at St. Sebastian's Zwisler Hall and is FREE for 2 members of any unit (whether you have attended Summer Camp at Manatoc or are just interested.) Please make reservations with Peggy at the office. I will send directions to St Sebastian a little closer to the dinner. As always if you have any general questions please feel free to send them to me, I can get them to someone who can get an answer to you. 2009 Reservation Update

Yesterday, just after I sent the note out, the rest of the 2009 package arrived at the office. They have been incorporated into the 2009 reservations located at <a href="http://www.manatoc.org/summer_camp/2009_summer_camp_reservations.pdf">http://www.manatoc.org/summer_camp/2009_summer_camp_reservations.pdf</a>. As of today we are missing reservation forms for 22 units, and I have 12 units that are requesting a week change. As soon as we get the missing units status confirmed, we can work the week changes then new units. 2009 Summer Camp Reservations

We are finishing the "same week-same site" units at this time.
