follow the steps below in Roster Builder.
send a list in any format (spreadsheet is preferred, csv, xlsx, sheets only)
Name of each participant during your week at camp,
email address (using the parent's email for the youth)
Whether they are youth or adult (critically important)
your week and campsite and council
go to your unit's roster, then at the bottom select Print Roster.
It will take you to the Roster Builder Designer report screen, as shown below.
Select who you want to show on the report.
On the left side, select
Only those youth and adults who are attending camp. (blue arrows 1 and 2 in the image below)
On the right side, select
Show Email Addresses for adult leaders (blue arrow 3),
Show Parents Email under the youth options (blue arrow 4),
Select Show Positions, so you can see everyone's position in the unit (blue arrow 5).
Then, run the report. The layout and settings can be saved if you want to run the report again in the future.
After running the report, you have the option to export the results to a PDF or CSV file. Choose CSV and then email the CSV file to commissioners@gtcscouting.org. Make sure you include in your email your campsite, and week of camping.
Attached is the email roster for Troop ____ of Great Trail (or other) council, camping in __(name of campsite)___ during week 1 of Summer Camp.
