Summer Camp at MSR
Great Trail Council, Scouting America, Peninsula, OH

Plan now to join us for Summer Camp 2027 at Camp Manatoc, the only Scouting America camp inside a National Park! Since 1923, Scout Troops have immersed themselves in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, surrounded by 400 acres of pristine forests, rolling hills, and sparkling lakes. It’s a transformative adventure that will ignite your Scouts’ passion for exploration, leadership, and camaraderie. If you want your troop to grow stronger, bolder, and closer than ever, Camp Manatoc is the ultimate destination.

At Camp Manatoc, your Scouts won’t just camp, they’ll conquer challenges that forge character and lifelong memories. Every activity is designed to push boundaries while teaching practical skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and resiliency that Scouts carry far beyond the campfire. With over 70 merit badge options and expert-led programs, your troop will dive into hands-on learning in a setting that feels like a real-world adventure playground. We also offer programs through our new Skilled Trades Education Center.

But Camp Manatoc Summer Camp is more than just merit badges. Our Adventure Wednesday program enables your Scouts to experience everything Northeast Ohio has to offer. You decide the program! We have planned excursions and can help your unit plan day activities at a number of area attractions, including:
